On Sunday 9 November, we’re doing something a little different. Instead of our usual gathering at EGGS, we’re holding Communities Sunday, a chance for everyone to take the morning to connect with others — to share brunch, invite someone over, or gather in your own way and practice whanaungatanga (deepening connection and belonging).

Life in community is at the heart of who we are at Central Vineyard — ordinary people following Jesus together as an alternative family. Communities Sunday is a chance to pause from the big gathering and lean into the smaller ones, building the kind of relationships that shape our shared life.

This is one of those weekends where we are looking to “be inventive in your hospitality” (Romans 12:13). So get creative, send out some invitations to your Circle or a few CV friends old or new, and start to make your own unique plans for a special Sunday of good food and good connection.
